Established in 1974, Harriman Hikers is one of the longest-existing outdoor singles organizations in the New York City area.

Please visit our website, www.harrimanhikers.org for complete information about the group.

This month’s newsletter contains news and announcements of additional events of likely interest to local outdoor and social minded singles.

News: Snakes On a Trail

The snake population seems very healthy this summer; seems like we have seen a rattlesnake on a hike every week for the past couple of weeks. Please be reminded that snakes found in our area are not predatory to humans and do their best to avoid us, but will take measures to protect themselves if provoked enough, so if you see one, dont pester it!
